I understand this was developed by engineers at the Somalian Aeronautical Institute of Technology and presented to Germany as a gift. 8-;

The Cessna Aircraft company developed an in-line twin back in 1961. One of the main advantages was the elimination of adverse yaw in a case of a single engine failure. Small Twin engine aircraft are very hard to control when one engine quits. Especially in the take-off mode.

@Nepean109 The Do-335 was awfully superior, but it was made in very short numbers, I think 12 or 13 in all.
