It ruins a child's sense of self worth when one parent can't be bothered to take responsibility for them, and girls need a masculine role model who will be the reference later on when they seek a mate.   • The training of a young man has to start much earlier than his first "pregnancy scare" following his first sexual encounter. Teaching boys who don't have fathers around to begin with is tough enough as there's no point of reference for the boy, but they have to be taught that while any man can be a father, it takes dedication and often hard work and sacrifice to be a dad. The problem is, without a role model, boys just don't know how to act when those teen hormones kick in.

  • Yeah last census was 73% of black children don't know who their father is. 73%......I mean SERIOUSLY.....How sad is Martin Luther King right now. It's because a system of Gov't support is there to help when babies are born. Fathers sleeping with anyone to create another dependent.
