  • Chryslers have got be second only to Dodge in the "hit with an ugly stick" contest.

Don't they have anyone that knows how to DESIGN cars in the US?

    • nope we don't, we had one but he died a while back.

    • I beleive he said it was based on a Mercedes C class.
And since Chrysler was mostly owned by Daimler Benz at the time I would say it was designed in Germany. It appears the only good thing on this car by the driver's account would be the American engine. ie. the Hemi. LOL!

    • Correct, this car was designed in Germany and the only award it won prior to it's quick demise and plummeting sales was it's American engine.

Same went with the Crossfire SRT, great car, but as usual with MB ideology, it was overpriced. The car makes a great collectors car thanks to the little AMG motor... heck, you buy them cheaper than you buy chevy cobalts for of the same model year.

    • nope, not really. Maybe a few people who design race cars but thats about it.

The ugliness of our cars kind of grows on you after awhile, its part of their charm.

  • OK! Let me see this.... $60,000 car vs $30,000 car.... Yea ok!! I think I can live with the cheaper car for a 10th of a second difference in a quarter mile. Besides the Chrysler supports the American economy.

    • but .. you obviously have never driven a BMW... a car built for drivers... they did not even begin to examine how it would DESTROY the Chrysler once cornering came into play

  • Hmm so whats the Deal with the New E Class diesels taking a shit at 10k kilometers? Was in Germany last month and was given a brand new E class with the diesel had less than 7k kilometers on it and it shit the bed. Wouldnt go faster than 15kmh. Had to have Eurocar come out with a replacement rental, an Audi, which wasnt bad but it sure as hell wasnt much to write home about.

    • Idiots like you are hilarious.

We hold the speed records, drift record, track record, and even the Nürburgring (your own track, which we hold top two spots on). Ok ok, lets argue about quality, have you seen the ratings lately? BMW, MB are amongst the worst and most expensive cars to buy, Ford right on top, GM with best buy awards.

So really, I mean, if we suck, what are you good at then?

      Thought so.

    • sadly though she/he is right, compare a japanese car with an american same class same price, unfortunately the japanese car is superior. why? because corporate america is too f**ken greedy, simple as that. greed = cheap = maximum profit = mass production = shitty products = ford and gm. no?

    • LOL!
Yea I find it kinda funny that Brit is telling us what a good car is or isn't as well. How about a test between two cars that cost relatively the same? No?
FFS that BMW costs double the Chrysler. I'd like to see this same test between the same Beemer and a comparably priced Cadalac CTS-V with 556 HP. No we don't want that now do we?
