  • I have read alot about the mayan calender and alot of people argue that it says nothing about doomsday. The calender works by mapping out the orbits of many objects in the sky and it only ended in 2012 because they did not feel mapping it out any further into the future was needed at that time.

    They decided to end it when our solar system crosses the galactic plane of the milky way.

    This is a cool video though. I find it amazing the mayans could be so advanced in astronomy and they did More..

  • It is so sad all the records were destroyed. The mayans were amazingly advanced. They understood we were in a galazy and they understood the orbits of pretty much all the objects you can see with a naked eye.
