Nice but just another academic model runs among zillions others. Scientists playing their toys basically. Cute. Never mentioned is the fact that assumptions and uncertainties associated with these long term runs into the future are so big that the model accuracy on these time scales is like weather prediction for next month : nil.

Geography is fascinating, its effect on human history is undeniable. What if there was a strip of land connected from Europe to Britain? What if the Sahara before it became a desert, remained a fertile land? I wish I had a crystal ball to see the results of the countless possibilities.
