Intro to: Mega Politics: a primer to the intro actually.NOTE: Advance apologies for the impromptu mishaps during filming like fidgeting and awkward pauses.

I tape these and produce them on one take, mistakes and all, (I just don't have the time!) so as not to pollute the "spontaneity factor" of the YourSay section of this site. Be that as it may, am posting because I feel the message does achieve it's target: all you mofo's out there who endure these strange posts of mine. Love you guys. Cheers & ((HUGS)) π

I used to play the geopolitics game, but now I feel like Jim Morrison... I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

    • @Ben Cambone Hah! He deserved a few more years though, would have loved to have seen him develop through the 70's...

Accepting that there is and always has been an elite and the ruled is part of growing up...sooner you take it on the chin the better

  • Made me feel sheepish. While watching this video describe rather cosmic and mile-in-the-sky geopolitical forces, I was contemplating whether to have my bagel toasted or plain. Fortunately, the fractals were at one with the sesame seeds on my bagel and I quickly realized the depths of my privation - toasting a fresh bagel is contrary to the forces of nature and the almighty.

Good vid btw - what was is about?

    cheers!

    • @Poosti Malaka

LOL at what was it about. That's what I'm wondering myself. Although the one I just uploaded isn't any more clear than this one :D

    • @Poosti Malaka lmao! at depth, it's about the Kabbalah which according to Jewish mystics shouldn't be studied until after one is over forty--but wait! We're all way past that aren't we!

      LOL

    • @piruly So THAT explains why I liked it but couldn't figure out why - sorta like my mother-in-law's apple strudel.

Past forty? So far past I still can't get over it. Why when I was young... (hells bells - that would be a funny yoursay. l8r)

      Cheers!

  • I'm dizzy now, thanks. That is better than beer.
Politics is Hollywood for the Ugly.

Mega-Groovy, man. An open mind is like a fortress with it's gates left open. Be careful who you let in.

Much better than that Venting guy. He's always so mad.

    • @john1054 "Forces" or "movements" like The global convergence toward constitutional supremacy – a concept that has long been a major pillar of American political order and is now shared, in one form or another, by more than 100 countries across the globe – brought about an inevitable and often welcomed increase in the salience of constitutional courts worldwide.

Today, not a single week passes without a national high court somewhere in the world releasing a major judgme More..

Interesting concept. Generally, I only examine constitutionality while considering the legitimacy of a government. You see it as a global process. I'd like to examine this idea more sometime.

Meanwhile, I'm just so happy you didn't start discussing Illuminati or Bilderbergers or something like that.

    • @john1054 Yeah it is quite understandable to suspect I might have been alluding to such pop conspiracies but no--not in the least--in fact, notions of "chaotic forces" have much to do with the effects from patterns that emerge out of disorder, which are more controlled by cosmic wave interactions rather than human intentions.

I know, it sounds like psychedelic poli sci but it is really from quantum science...

  • Nice, interesting and a little trippy video with the fractals there. Suitable though.

Aaaand, Just some off-topic rambling: One of my favorite movies is "Pi" (1998). It got me thinking again about determinism (I've been fascinated about it since highschool) and the movie have been a source of inspiration for me still.

    • @DukeBrazi I liked that movie as well--I have it still. There's a fun fact filled book called the "Joy of Pi" which is just as fascinating too.

  • That was trippy but the message went through loud and clear. Like usual we agree on many things it seems. I like to say i don't indulge in politics, but we all have to pay attention at some point just to come to grips with our own opinion. It sometimes gets confusing when we have to decide between what seems evil and what seems like deception. Is there really a difference? I won't be taking sides with anyone either. A no-vote is the same as my non-existence. When there is a hint of truth, it wil More..
