Police Actions Cause Death of Motorcyclist

Footage shows a policeman step in front of an oncoming motorbike. He hits the rider of the bike with a baton causing it to collide with another bike. The collision is fatal. The rider of the second bike, Abdulla Gasim Ibrahim, died as a result of the police actions. Note that the Maldives Police Service arrived quite (too?) quickly on the scene.

  • Actually the actions of the loser trying to escape on the bike caused this crash.

  • looks more like driver of a overloaded, speeding scooter actions cause death of motorcyclist

  • I dont understand the mentality of those whom always blame police... It is clear the officer was just doing his job, as the RIDER attempted to escape or disregard direction thereof. The RIDER is clearly at fault here.

    • @Shadow Doubt It obviously makes you looks like a cool 'gangsta' if you blame the police for everything.
Occasionally saying "Fuck the Police!" earns bonus points.

    • @raburi yeah , see that's the difference between a THINKER and a Parrot.. the cop that shot the guy in the S.F. BART station(who was on his stomach, handcuffed, on the ground...) was obviously a fucking moron unfit to be a street-sweeper.. THIS cop stood in the path of a speeding bike, and smacked it/him down like a man swats a fly.
WHATEVER else this guy was, a pussy he WASN'T!

    • @Shadow Doubt a few people have said this, but how exactly do you make this conclusion? Just a guess?

  • I think it was the speeding/fleeing driver that causes the fatalities...

  • If you see a policeman signaling
you to stop, you do not go around
him and try to escape. It was not
    the police fault...

  • A speeding scooter evading police is the cause of the crash, not the police.

    • @BlackSabbathBR maybe he was speeding and tried to swerve not to hit the police officer? By the officers reaction afterwards it looked like he was trying to distance himself from what happened? Guilty? Probably.

  • I'm sure the fact that the fag was hauling ass had nothing to do with it.

  • Everyone is always so eager to blame police. What is it that the first rider did to provoke such a reaction? That's the real question here. Nevermind the simple fact that had the rider just stopped, none of this would've occurred. But sure... it's the cop's fault. Get a life.

    • @Incognito Shut up, you idiot. The cop should have had sense enough to know that the area was too crowded for him to pull a circus stunt like that.

    • @Nikki Santoro No you shut up idiot. It is not good sense to let criminals flee. The area was not crowded, there was one bike on the road who pulled over to make room. This was just bad luck, the cop was right to try to stop the bike and it wasn't his blow that caused the crash it was the bike steering around the cop.

    • @dorbie Apparently Nikki thinks the appropriate thing to do would have been to ask the man nicely to stop and when he didn't "Oh well I tried"

    • @dorbie You are fooking moron. If that was an appropriate place to do a circus stunt like that, then why did somebody die, you fooking idiot? Geez louise, I am dealing with retards.

  • then stop when asked.. his own fault..

  • Looks like they would've collided anyway...

  • You can smell the moronic hatred for law enforcement in this dishonest description.

It wasn't a blow that caused the bike to collide and kill the driver it was the actions of the rider steering around the cop.

This is 100% the fault of the fleeing criminals on the bike, not the cop.

    • @dorbie You must be joking, the cop clearly jumped in front of the scooters path without signaling him to stop, that's the only reason he swerved around him to begin with, and it was clearly the blow that made him lose his balance.

Besides, would you care to tell us what crime this guy is guilty of, since you're already calling him a criminal?

      Posted Dec-2-2012 By

    • @LRELLO You are claiming things not apparent on the video. He's a criminal because he was fleeing and caused a fatal accident. He steered around a cop who was standing in the road to prevent passage, despite your bullshit to the contrary.

  • FUCK this headline!
HOW many of you could stand there and not flinch, much less run away, instead of delivering that perfect strike??
Sorry about the biker he crashed into, but I can't blame a cop with That much backbone, and balls the size of billiard balls, at least!

    • @nexus1961 Maybe someday a cop "with That much backbone, and balls the size of billiard balls" will cause a fleeing criminal to crash into & kill your kids who are playing & minding their own business, or your mom, or whoever you care most about. Then we'll see if you can't blame him because he had backbone and balls
