My favorite movie of Earnest Borgnine was "Emperor of the North".
He played a rail boss aboard a train during the great depression and his job was to keep the hobo's from hitching a free ride in the box cars and took a little too much pleasure in his "job". He didn't count on Lee Marvin though. Classic. Damn! they don't make guys that those anymore.

@Megadeth I loved that show. Phil Silvers as "Leadbottom" and I forgot the name of the Japanese guy who was their cook/laundry guy? I keep wanting to say Hop Sing. Wrong show.
