Libyan armed factions turn their guns on each other during a demonstration for autonomy of the eastern region. The leadership of the NTC replied that it will put down such demands with force. Here the armed factions allied with the leadership of Abdul Jalil shoot at the demonstration, reportedly there were injuries due to the use of live bullets. The supporters of autonomy also being armed and part of the NTC shot back at their friends.



Libya was the most prosperous African nation while ruled by Muamar Gaddafi, although he was responsible for nepotism and corruption he certainly saw his country develop. It is hard to argue, without lying, that Libya has become anything more than a shithole after the overthrow of the dictator.
