I had an iPhone 4, it flew out of my backpack while banging out a wheelie on my R1.
After that I bought the 4s, since there was no insurance. So far so good, and I've never dropped it like these guys.

I was working in a Wal-Mart putting up CCTV cameras and dropped my Blackberry 25 feet below to the concrete floor. It popped the trackball out and the shiny chrome piece that covered it. I popped it back in, and it worked fine.
