Anybody who actually believes BO is going to yank the troops from Iraq is deluding themselves. You still won't get the surrender you've been hoping for. And, likewise he won't be dumping terrorists from Guantanamo in to the US. Just because he is going to close Gitmo, doesn't mean your compatriots will be turned loose. Nobody wants them, they'll be executed anywhere else they are released, and BO can't release them in to the US. They'll be in prison for life.
Obama isn't going to be as radically left as you think. He saw Clinton try it, and he saw what happened in congress because of it.

You see, if you ask any Obama supporter, they will tell you that they are supporting the man because he gives them hope. Now, Oscar Wilde once said that the basis of all hope is fear, and I intend to agree with Wilde on that one.
So what exactly are the Obama supporters afraid of? Well, it's really simple, after 8 years of Bush, and of having the government repeatedly inform them that they are living in a threatening world that doesn't like them (which, by the way, is true, and it disliked them during Clinton's presidency too I may add) and that they are going to have to hunker down, get though and prepare to fight this for the long haul, they are afraid that this is really the way the world is.
Enter Obama, who tells them in all kinds of inspiring fashion that this isn't necessarily true, that the world isn't really dangerous and that all we need to do is to talk to one another, and then all will be well in the world and we will all sing Kumbaya together.

I see a government where the agenda and interests are no longer in favor of the people who are the backbone of this country, the white europeans who built it. I have been on military forum websites as i was curious how the soldiers feel about their new Commander in Chief, an awful lot of them bitterly recount their Iraq war service and dead and wounded buddies, and their perception that Obama will sell them out with a low grade Saigon 1975; and their morale has done a 180. I read alot of "Not for you people. Not any more." I find this disturbing...watch the vids here of soldiers fighting in Iraq, how many black faces do you see?

Bob, I am glad your happy with the results,
The republicans lost conservatives did not lose because we did not have a candidate on the ballot. As a conservative who shares similar interest as you, you forget how many people spat hate in every direction abut bush. Do not expect people to like Obama or even to say nice things about him, just hope the economy gets fixed other wise he will be a one term president.
