Next time , try taking a spare tire out of the back , place it in front of the truck , run your rope up and over the tire , that will lift the truck up first , while pulling on it!
The way they were doing it , they were trying to pull it through the mud.

@RustRocket Yup. And if you are not going to recover a vehicle correctly, one might want to warn people to get out of the way of the tow strap like the guy sitting on the bottom right of the screen. If that strap would have snapped he would have caught it right in the face.

Yea , a rope ,or cable can whip a guy in half , in some cases.
We had a guy mount a hydrolic line incorrectly ,on a Cat scraper , the weight of the line was so heavy that it was pulling down on the housing , he tightened 7/16 bolts , where 1/2 should have been , when he started the thing up , that line blew and fluid sprayed all the way across the shop.
That hydro fluid could have killed someone dead!
