  • I sure hate to see the program end. We gained so much knowledge and technology from the shuttle program. I'm sorry that I never saw a liftoff in person. It's all kind of sad that it's gone.

  • I was down there in 2005 and did the world wind tour of the whole facility. It was buzzing like crazy back then. I am glad I was able to see it all before it came to an end.

    What makes me sick is we are taking care of the entire world military wise, handing money out to jews and muslims both so they can hate each other, we are allowing leeches like the Mexicans to come on in and suck more of our resources dry, so we can no longer afford to be the worlds leader in space exploration.   • It is indeed a shame that 30 years were lost in that non-viable program, now the situation is to go back to the blueprints of the Apollo program to figure out how to move forward. If only Wernher Von Braun had been listened to, NASA would today be 30 years ahead...
