If CleanIT's proposals are carried out, it's likely that sites like this—currently hosted in Hungary—would be targeted.

  • Sounds rather like a try to keep silent about the problem than a solution for it...and using the opportunity to make your own citizen more transparent.

  • In theory, cutting off commo is a good thing. In practice, this'll never work. But congrats on the grant, anyway.

    • @tonkoo What do you mean "total" bullshit? Maybe one point was not entirely accurate, but mostly it is true. Besides, the inaccuracy is only half inaccurate anyway, because their "content" came out. Besides, what you describe sounds like a choice made by the IRA member so as not to be identified, and not a ban at all. But I have not studied the matter. Anyway, I don't think anybody would hve thought it sane to ban talks between the IRA and other people, whether publicly or pr More..

  • Western bureaucrats want full control of the Internet, its contents, and the users. What better way to justify the takeover than to fight terrorists.

  • It's an insult to the IRA to be connected in any way to these nut jobs. The IRA weren't trying to force their way of life on anybody, they were trying to get their own way of life back from an occupying army. Just like the French Resistance did against the occupying German army in WWII. No difference.
