Downed "another Mig-23". I can't tell this one because its just a pile of rubble but the first downed aircraft was an L-39 and not a Mig-23.
Source can confirm type of the aircraft?

True, however if that is an L-39 and not a mig, it is plausible that the pilot died on ejection. Specially the 1st generation of L-39 ejection seats have a 60-40 rate of death or serious injury upon ejection.

Not sure! The pilots helmet isn't seen. He hadn't freed himself from the parachute. His face shows a severe injury to the jaw. A lot of blood is seen on the ground but very less on his clothes.
How safe are the MIG ejection seats? Do they sometimes malfunction and harm the pilots?
