I have some very very very inside information about a possible Star Trek series that some writers are working on. Even though Star Trek has expanded more heavily into the movie business. Especially with the success of Abrams movie which guaranteed more to come. The TV series aspect of the franchise isn't done yet.

There are way too many details to go into here and also not every project that is written up is accepted for development. But as a die hard Star trek fan I can tell you More..

Abrams isn't involved with the TV franchise. He's too busy gutting and whoring out the box office aspect of Star Trek as an action space opera.

I'll give his movie this much. They did decide to make it as an alternate universe/history story. Thus making it a spinoff from the main Star Trek cannon. Otherwise he probably would have been lynched.

That's easy enough to explain. That's alternate evil Nimoy, not the Spock we all know and love.

Plus they dumped truck loads of cash on the guy. We all have our breaking point.

  • Is the Federation the only outfit in the entire Star Trek universe not to have a cloaking device?

    • @john1054 - The Romulan’s tried to sale the Federation the technology, but the Shield/Force Field Lobbyist stopped the sale. They “the Shied Lobbyist” fault hard because of the money they would loose in Shield contracts .

    • Oh , also when Obama Care kick in if the Romulen's sold the Federation the technology they would be forced to buy Obama Care. And they said that would break them as a corporation , so they said that was a big reason not to sell the Federation the technology.
