  • He seems like a decent bloke who, luckily, is not consumed by bitterness, as I'm sure I'd be.

  • Not being funny but....
    1. It normally takes more than one witness statement to secure a murder conviction at court. (remember Trail by Jury.)
    2. He's admitted that he was no angel.
    3. He got freed on technically, as the witness no longer wishes to give evidence.
    So all in all, he probably did commit murder, but now has got lucky, and is out of prison.
