  • Don't ever take your friends and family for granted. Tell everyone how much they mean to you every time you get drunk.

  • How do you "break every bone in her body" reviving someone in cardiac arrest? A few ribs maybe from chest compressions, but every bone?

  • Almost exactly a year after his mother passed away, I was at my father's bedside as he was dying. I did the exact same thing... I told him how much he was loved and thanked him for being such a great person & father. He died an hour later. Don't take your loved ones for granted... tell them you love them.

  • That was sad and inspirational at the same time. I do not look forward to the day when I lose my mom. I called her after watching this. I should do that more often.

    Thanks.

  • I miss my mother. I didn't get the chance to tell her how much I loved her before she was gone. I'm an old man now and I will always regret having never told her how much I cared. If your mother is still alive take the time to express your feelings for her. Time is short, life is fleeting.

  • "Break every bones in her body to revive her" ? Was this taking place in China or Afghanistan?
The only problem I know of with cardiac arrest is that the brain may not have had sufficient oxygen over too long a period of time. If revival is successful, assuming adequate care is administered (surgery, etc.), the risk is therefore to have a patient with significant motor and/or mental handicaps . Never heard of "breaking all their bones" as a consideration.

    • @Horgh_Ungolokh CPR will break your ribcage and possibly your sternum when done correctly. However, CPR has a very low success rate. I would think they would have tried the shock paddles. I find it strange though that she would flatline at the hospital and them not administrating life saving procedures automatically. She must have had a DNR on file(do not resuscitate).

  • He did the right thing. If you are in this situation, then do what your intuition tells you to do. Cherish life, but don't cause suffering!
