My father is old school. He does not believe in TV, Radio, Music, Movies ect.
He comes from the times of the Great Depression.
He has absolutely no imagination. NONE.
So when he tells you a story like this, its not like some entertainment, media fed, slack jawed, mindless puppet... like you. Sitting in front of a computer watching this.

I have to admit I got a chuckle Abf but respect for age is something we really need to bring back in our society. You cant disbelieve in this story- Good memory of it. I believe in U.F.O`s just never seen one or Alien etc etc.You cant for one minute look up and think WE are the only ones- especially whats out there- or what we know of.

Great post waterlawman :) Sounds pretty errie. I don't disbelieve in extraterrestrial objects I just need proof. Seeing for myself would help I guess. In any case this gentleman seems to be quite convinced and i have nothing to say that would naysay his story :) Peace

It was a decent story until he said these words:
"I can assure you it was not of Earthly origin"
He can assure the viewer of no such thing.
Seeing a light in the sky or seeing an unidentified object in no way equates to seeing something that is not of "Earthly origin".

I think you need to read the preamble, as well understand the year this happened and the place it happened at. When you do you will see that there is no way it could be anything else.

Most unfortunately neither you, nor the teller of the story, are able to prove that it is any such thing.
Extraordinary claims require proof by evidence, intuition is not sufficient proof of anything other than an individual's belief system.
This gentleman "believes" it was not of Earthly origin, "belief" is a situation that is far removed from actually knowing it to be the truth/fact.

Dear Mr. Reich wing you got me on a technical point that I said assure you.I could have said I do not think it possible for it to be of earthly origin that might have been better.However this video was done in a one time take,no cue cards no nothing but my memory which is better than most people I know.This event was so amazing in a setting so remote that if you were with us at the time [ 1967 ] you would say the same thing I did.Cordially, Ross Nesbit
