Most worldwide record authorities do not hold positions for the largest pets of any kind, to prevent encouraging owners from overfeeding them.
Cat must be kept slim, as soon as they start getting fat they wind up with all sorts of diseases. My GF had a cat like that, wound up with diabetes, imagine test blood suger and doing shots daily on your cat.

Well, I was actually stating something many of my family members did during our civil war (1936-1939): eat cats. My mom was a kid, and they told her it was hare, she later found out the truth.
In fact, some of my older family members still remember some nice recipes of how to cook cats.
