Homo"phobia" is a fear of fags, homos or 'closet queens' as you like to refer to them. Most Americans who dislike their lifestyle dislike it on moral grounds or just plain hate them.     It is unproven that you can be born gay though (despite the small period of time in the early 90's where we thought there was evidence it was quickly debunked).
