(June 15th, 2012) The US President was in the middle of stating that he intends to relax
deportation rules for young immigrants when a reporter began heckling,
leading to Mr Obama confronting him.
US President Barack Obama was interrupted by a heckling reporter whilst announcing his revised immigration policy.
“It is the right thing to do,” insisted the president after the reporter’s interruption. “Excuse me sir, it’s not time for questions sir. Not while I’m speaking.”
Mr Obama added: “And the answer to your question, sir, and the next time I prefer you let me finish my statements before you ask that question, is this is the right thing to do for the American people.
“I didn’t ask for an argument, I’m answering your question,” he said, after the reporter tried to engage the president in a debate.
The reporter in question was allegedly the Daily Caller's Neil Munro, according to reports.
