THIS IS NOT A FRAGILE GLASS DOOR. The problem here is that they put handles on a sliding glass door, so it looks like you need to push. Watch the video again while looking at the round things at the top of the door. You can see that they are wheels getting pushed off a track. For those who dont know about this trick is the owner of the shop puts 2 sharp metal objects you can see them on top of the door, basicly what they do is
lets say the glass door costs $100 so when any costumer comes in and smashes the glass door, so he charges them $150 or even $200 and place the camera behind him, so you cant see the 2 sharp metal objects
I'm a Police Officer and ive run into these kind of things thousands of times

Tempered glass....probably hit a pebble or piece of concrete at the bottom. Once it chips the edge and gets a touch of flex it shatters the whole pane.

I think the hinge at the top came loose, once it dropped on its edge it shattered. Same thing with them iphones with the gorilla glass, they maybe tough enough to withstand a blow to the front but its the blow to the edge that does the damage.
