Ignorance that costs lives every day...
With a trailer attached, allowed speed is 80 kph max, in certain cases 100 kph.
That's German ignorance right there.
Cheers

Playing with the camera while driving 130 kph isn't good either.

@fusselkater
It's a hell of a lot worse and reckless than harmlessly towing an unladen trailer at slightly over the stipulated speed limit.
Laws are for the obedience of the stupid and the guidance of the wise. Trailers have a lowered speed limit because if they are LADEN, there is a danger of snaking and instability.
This trailer is UNLADEN and would not snake, regardless of speed.
The only person presenting a danger to other road users is the person who filmed this whilst driving at spee More..

@passive_observer LOL, you really weren't that present at school, were you? A lighter trailer is way much faster to get out of control. More weight stabilizes a trailer (and we're not talking about sky high inadequate load). What you didn't see, why I turned on the cam in the first place, was that it has already startet to bounce (dunno if you can see it in the vid) and oddly the guy got slower once he noticed me filming, I was driving very constantly.
And slightly over means 50 kph in that case More..

@fusselkater If you see it that way, blame it on your personal insecurity. It's not playing, it's turning it on (one click) and pointing it at the target. Klick, off, done. I light cigarettes in the car, switch cds, turn the ac on and off and lots of other shit to operate a car. Why should operating a fucking cam a couple of seconds be more dangerous or more difficult?

@passive_observer
Ahaha, DeltaEpsilon downvoted me. Well kid, if you're going to drive recklessly then don't post it online and expect a pat on the back. Truth hurts.
Your comment about a lighter trailer being apt to go out of control is a lot of nonsense. "paying attention in school" ? I know from the experience of towing laden and unladen trailers, aside from that it's general knowledge.
When did you last tow a trailer? I'm guessing never. A lightweight trailer like that doe More..

Title is wrong - Ignorance is a lack of knowledge. Germans know the max speed with a trailer, therefore this is negligence. Hefty fine.

@DeltaEpsilon
Ok, what I meant was double axle trailers are quite stable at higher speed. I would think up to 130 km/h is still safe depending on the load and the mass of the towing vehicle - but I know your point was about the legal speed limit. Sorry if I sounded rude.

@Asterix The instability is one thing, ok. But the other reason is the way to halt. I didn't even start with the distance to the next one in front...

If the trailer is equipped with brakes it is not a problem but if not, the trailer gross weight should be restricted - in SA it is 750kg.

In Russia they would be doing twice that speed and driving on a stick wedged where the wheel used to be.
