It is very sad that we haven't been to the moon in 40 years and we've advanced so little since then. It's a pathetic commentary on our "diversity" mentality where we dumb down to our lowest common denominator.

That was beautiful.
Made perfect sense.
Spending money wisely , has never been a priority in congress, the lobbyists control those decisions .

You're right. Our current government would rather pay people to NOT work, instead of putting them to work. It's just stupid. Voted!

Capitalism could never work in it's purest form - only the big government can fund something like NASA. Private companies do not see beyond the length of their wenises - they will not invest into anything that doesn't bring immediate profit. Seems like most Americans are lost and do not know where to take the stand against the Big Government or the Private Industry - i'm for example, voting FOR CAPITALISM, i'm voting FOR private businesses and FOR the local stores - but i'm against CORPORATE CAP More..

@copilot1111111 If it was up to me - i would make NASA budget 600 billion and not a penny less! If we had spent 500 Billion dollars on NASA for the last 30 years we would have THOUSANDS of new technologiesby the year 2012: the electronics, the materials, the computers and other tech! The by-product of the space race is TECHNOLOGY and this is technology that is a quantum leap ahead of what we use on the surface on our planet. The "trickle down" effect of this space technology is inevita More..

Life got to expensive, so did NASA. Greed took over, other wise I will be employed on the moon by now, as a cook in a camp. Awesome video, can you imagine the employment numbers, if this happened with out thinking about money. Wow...lots of jobs..lots.

Yes but at the same time NASA held on to the shuttle for way to long and it became a financial white elephant. You do not need the shuttle for heavy lift anymore nor is it needed for research once the space station was up and running. Yes NASA needs funding but at the same time it needs to be more wary of it's spending. We could have sent thousands of space probes out for the cost of keeping the shuttle program running for the last 5 years. NASA lost focus and forgot it is about knowledge not su More..

Gee , thanks liberals for screwing everything up. Now I know your going to say it wasn't all your fault but its mostly your fault.( Big government, social programs, more regulations, etc.) So don't try to fluff it up by blaming someone else.
Now I know your going to start pissing and moaning so just get on with it and give it your best shot.
