      Don't forget Syria has been a major customer of Russian high-tech weaponry. Believe it or not, Russia produces just as sophisticated kit as the US.

      Come to think of it, laser guided bombs are at the low end of high-tech. Just about any small/medium power has them or can make them simply and cheaply.

  • that aircraft sure could carry more that two bomb.. what the hell?

    and although dive bombing is effective and mostly accurate, beach bombing puts the aircraft a lower risk by keeping it away from small arms range.

    instead of approaching target, losing altitude, releasing bomb, gaining altitude. they should approach, climb release bomb, and keep climbing. bomb is going to gain altitude and then fall precisely on target.
