Edison didn't actually have anything to do with this movie, other than his production company funding it. He was probably too busy electrocuting elephants and mailing turds to Tesla.

great visual effects fot that time. :) so they used colour filters during the presentation to change the mood? Blue for the ghost scenes and yellow for the normal scenes. or something like that

One of my Favorite holiday movies. I like the original with Alister Sim.
George C. Scott does a good job in his version, but I like the classics.
