Dogs Deserve Better, a nonprofit group, earlier uploaded the video to youtube with the text:
This is video caught by a good Samaritan of a woman named Ashley Gennara beating a dog in Kalamazoo, Michigan in May, 2006. She then calmly walks away, checking her shoes. The American Staffordshire Terrire is a great dog -- I've owned four of them - but then I don't treat mine like the bling-bling types or trash like this female.
Did you see the dog cringe as she approached? That dog is NOT cruel -- SHE was cruel.

I've owned two pit bulls and they were good dogs. Children used to pet and play with them and I could keep a ferret and probably any other animal around them (they did like to bark at squirrels though).
Any dog can snap or have a pet peeve... They're WILD ANIMALS. People are responsible for 90% of a trained dog's behavior. So if some scumbag owns a big dog, then you can blame the human for its behavior and reason for owning it.
Remember when the Doberman Pincher was the feared alpha dog?

Unless retarded (very rare), ALL breeds of dogs are great human companions and pets. It comes down to HOW the human treats and reacts to the dog.
