Dogs Deserve Better, a nonprofit group, earlier uploaded the video to youtube with the text:
This is video caught by a good Samaritan of a woman named Ashley Gennara beating a dog in Kalamazoo, Michigan in May, 2006. She then calmly walks away, checking her shoes. She pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty, but they dropped one. Outcome: 6 months probation, was not to own or possess a dog during probation. Was caught with another dog, and placed on another 6 months probation.

    Did you see the dog cringe as she approached? That dog is NOT cruel -- SHE was cruel.

    I've owned two pit bulls and they were good dogs. Children used to pet and play with them and I could keep a ferret and probably any other animal around them (they did like to bark at squirrels though).

    Definition of Domesticated; As in domesticated dogs/cats/household pets:

    "to tame (an animal), esp. by generations of breeding, to live in close association with human beings as a pet or work animal and usually creating a dependency so that the animal loses its ability to live in the wild."(dicionary.com)

    Unless you went out into the wilderness, found a dog and took it home, it's not a wild animal.
