New Hampshire Policeman Dead, Four Others Wounded in Shootout 
A Greenland, New Hampshire Police Chief Michael Maloney who 7 days from retirement was shot dead and four other local police officers were wounded in a shootout with a drug dealer during a raid on a house. The drug dealer and his girlfriend were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide. Officers from Dover, NH, Newmarket, NH, and the University of New Hampshire were wounded. This incident occurred about two miles from where I live, in Durham, NH.
