my garden update
HULLO yoursayers, hope your all fine. ( the wind noise is only bad at very start btw)
Quick shout out to Jenva who doesnt see the point in shout outs. so i dedicate this yoursay to you . ;)
I have been really busy, what with wedding plans and things, but i wanted to show you guys what's been going on at Castle Edkemper this spring..
The strawberrys are coming out, and the peas look great, and my back hurts from shifting earth ;) also from changing the radiator and my bodged exhaust for a proper one on jeepster, amongst other issues..Chrysler have a lot to answer for, but i'll save that for another day.

Great stuff, it should look the biz when it's finished.
A word of warning though if you have only just started growing fruit and veg, it's highly addictive. It starts off with a couple of peas and spuds in the corner but before you know it the garden is full of greenhouses and raised beds, the pond has to come out for apple trees etc...I could go on.

A nice little tranquil botanical oasis for you to unwind.
That's cool.
You got to give us progress reports bud.
BitLou was going to do Progress reports, but I guess he's forgetting camera every time he goes. :))

It looks nice now and will be nicer when you're finished with it.
I've been dealing with drainage and ground water issues at my place for years now. Very frustrating. My home catches the funneled run-off from a ten or twelve acre area and about twice a year I'll get water inside from heavy rains. I installed a french drain. It was corrugated, perforated plastic piping on a gravel bed and buried about a foot deep. But I continued to get flooding, and added a second drain with a storm grate. I w More..
