  • Get everyone on the internet to pirate a copyrighted file, it'd be impossible to convict so many people.

What you need to able to copyright is images of yourself and your family, you also need to be able to have rights to the airspace above your home- they want to use then they need to pay

  • Sharing it with your wife (or anyone in your home) is not criminal. Movies, for example, are licensed for home viewing, where admission is not charged.

Megaupload charged people for access to copyrighted material. That's the equivalent renting a movie, copying it, then charging people to come in your home and view it.

No they didn't they charged people for faster access to their site, they never invited you to steal people did that all by themselves. The FBI spent two years working on building a case against megauploads, when this is nothing more than a civil suit and a matter between two private parties.

The question people need to ask themselves, is how much did the existence of megauploads effect them or anyone they knew- but how much of their tax money has gone into shutting down this site More..

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the criminals running "megaupload.com" were in the business of helping mankind. I could be wrong, I dunno.

The guy they arrested “A Mr DotCom” had invested 10 million dollars in New Zealand government bonds, he gave several million dollars to the Christchurch earthquake appeal fund, he put on a $500,000 fireworks display for the city he lived in and he gave a children’s hospice "starship foundation" a $90,000 gift.

He is a great guy, you would like him.

  • 1. SOPA is NOT dead, not by a long shot.
    2. ACTA and SOPA have SHIT to do with censorship...simply screaming censorship over and over will certainly fool many of the idiots in the world but sooner or later people are going to have to come to terms with what is the root of your argument...that is "WHAAAAAA WHAAAA WE WANT SOMETHING FOR FREEEE!!! WHAAAAA WHAAAA!!!!"

Anything and everything the federal government does today, is not in the best interest of the American people. And they continue to prove this time and time again.

So, if someone, other than the gov't, claims this is bad, I will initially bite because it is very likely it is bad, or atleast give that person a leg up over the word of our government because as we all know by now, the governemtn's word doesnt mean shit.

Saying that, I think I will read up more on ACTA before i ma More..
