Kenyan schools open in uneasy peace
Jan 14 - Some schools in the Kenyan capital Nairobi re-open despite concerns of post-election violence flaring-up again in the wake of mid-week opposition protests.
Violence which broke out after disputed presidential elections on December 27 had prevented students from resuming the scheduled start of term during the first week of January.
