Rescue workers recover 13 bodies and rescue six wounded after a five-storey building collapses in Karachi.

Dozens of people are feared trapped after a residential building collapsed in Karachi on Friday.

Pictures from Pakistan's GEO TV showed rescuers sifting through the rubble looking for survivors.

It is believed rescue teams with heavy machinery cannot access the site due to a lack of space.

One eye witness, Muhammad Ismial, said he had seen people running from the building.

"40 to 45 people were inside and only two to four people were outside at the time of the collapse," he added.

It is not yet clear what caused the collapse.
