Anderson da Silva, (born April 14, 1975) is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and current UFC Middleweight Champion. Silva is the promotion's longest reigning champion, and holds the longest winning and title defense streak in UFC history, with 15 consecutive wins and 10 title defenses. He has 12 post-fight bonus awards, which is the highest total in the UFC.
Silva is ranked as the #1 middleweight in the world by multiple publications including Sherdog, and is the consensus No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world according to ESPN, Sherdog, Yahoo! Sports and other publications.
UFC president Dana White called Silva "the greatest mixed martial artist ever."

@Ali187 I remember but he's still not that good in my eyes Mark was on a win streak then he lost to your boy and now everyone is on his bandwagon they forget that mark isnt that good either he just has a great wrestling pedigree he got ktfo by Matt HAmmel and looked bad in most of his fights except the C. Leben fight and his first WEC fight

@deathgod198255 Anyone can discredit other peoples wins. Anderson has fought a lot of one dimensional fighters and some not even that good at that 1 dimension. Cote, Leites, James Irvin, forrest, chael etc. Some of his fans maybe overhyping him, but he's still a great talent and will have anderson a good fight. He's an all around good fighter.

@Epic_Beard_Man Nah, the advanced guys are always the most controlled. I love sparring with black belts in MMA because they hit you with precision (so you know what you do wrong and where you leave openings) but they will not injure you. It's the beginners I am always afraid of, as they don't know what they are doing and can easily cause injury to you or themselves.
