Motorcycle Bandits - Caught and Put on Display

Campeche, Mexico - On October 12, 2012 State Attorney General, Renato Sales Heredia, introduced two suspects who had been terrorizing the town by robbing pedestrians and local merchants.

This security video shows one of their latest robberies.

In the video we can see the suspects park their motorcycle outside of the small shop. Suspect Guadalupe Cahuich Efrain Solorzano enters the store and asks the clerk for some cigarettes. This is a ruse to identify the location of the cash box. He then goes out and motions for his partner, Ricardo Daniel Rodriguez, who was waiting on the bike.

Ephraim comes back and the clerk offers cigars. That's when the suspect pulls a knife from the band of his shorts. The suspect grabs the clerk and a struggle ensues. During the struggle the other suspect takes the cash box and takes it back to the bike. The clerk continues to fight with the suspect until the suspect finally gets free and runs to the waiting motorcycle with the clerk chasing close behind.

The robbers escaped with 50 thousand pesos.

The attorney General indicated that these two suspects are responsible for at least five attacks in the town. He has asked that any citizen who was a victim of these two to contact local authorities so they can investigate and charge the criminals.

The public display of the criminals shows that Mexican authorities do not fuck around, especially if they have not been paid off with their cut of the loot.
