  • The difference between a semi-automatic hunting rifle with a 30 round magazine and an "assault weapon" with a 30 round magazine is well, what the gun looks like.

    "Assault weapons" are black and scary looking. Functionally, the two weapons are identical.

  • I really wouldnt give a fuck, and this would barely effect ANYONE but rich gun enthusiasts. The price of a fully automatic weapon is ridiculous, about three times that or more then a semi automatic.     • @Adirondack13 Fully automatic weapons require a Class III FFL license and special permits. No one I know is hunting with such a gun and these things have been restricted for years. I agree, fully automatic weapons need to be very highly regulated, but as for the semi-auto's leave them alone.
