Moto GP greats Nicky Hayden (Repsol) and Max Biaggi (Yellow) out for a day on motards. Not nearly the best in the world of Super Motard (Supermoto in America), but not too bad for a couple of road racers

Motards seem like the most fun you can have on motorcycles. I was looking at new places to live a few months ago and a house I looked at had two very nice motards in the garage. I found myself drooling over the bikes and not even interested in the house for a good 5 minutes.

@Ruffus Nice! It's great having 2 sets, with knobs or 70/30's on the 2nd set to hit the dirt as required.
I'm trying to pick up an 01-02 KTM 520 to turn into a moto bike when they get a bit cheaper this winter.
So nice to be able to ride without the worry of the bike getting totaled if you go down. Changed the way I feel about speed bumps too. Airtime? Yes, please.

LOL, yeah, I used to think & ride that way. Now I'm old & fragile. Just waiting to get a price on a LSD & regear for my van, with whats left over I'll be ordering a sumo setup from Warp 9.
A 520 would rip. My Husky 510 does :@)

Thanks, yes it is. Just sometimes that big bad wolf attacks me. I'm just healing up now from trying to drive a foot peg into my ribcage, haven't ridden in a month to the day. :@(

@TheMonkeyOnYourBack Motards are dirt bikes with sportbike rims and tires. So they can actually corner very well on pavement.
