This is the real cost of civil war, civilians killed in the cross fire. Neither side can claim a moral advantage. This is partly the result of the philosophy that says Bashar and his Alawite clique own Syria and must remain in power *at any cost*. And on the flip side, we have the philosophy the Bashar and Alawites must go *no matter what the cost*. Well, this is the cost.
