Here is a hint: If you are going to use IEDs against American forces, then it's no use targeting MRAPs. The soldiers inside the vehicle were probably a little bothered because of the dust, but that's about it. Now show the part where it started raining hellfire.

@airspoon they are bomb resistant not bomb proof, if its big enough it will destroy any vehicle. Last one flipped and smashed that >5 ton mrap with its v shaped hull so what do you think it will do to flesh and bone I think their pretty much dead & u wouldnt want to be the one in the gunners turret

First of all, nothing is bomb proof, but if anything was ever close, it's the MRAP. It's the v-shaped hull that that made it flip, which just showed that it worked...

The v-shaped hull AND extra armor on the bottom makes them as close to bomb proof as you are going to get in a vehicle with our current technology. The v-shaped hull works in two different ways, first by deflecting the energy of the explosion to either side of the vehicle, which is why the vehicle flipped, and secondly by providing more armor surface area (the logic behind angled tank armor). Very powerful IED indeed plus perfect timing. Well Taliban dont have those modern weapon but this IED is really very dangerous and it can destroy any vehicle.
