The price of whole shoulder salted smoked dried beef had dropped by that afternoon from it’s usual town sook price for quality smoked beef of 10LY a kilio to 3LY a killio and was still being under cut by more bells ringing followed by new voices calling out under cut prices. It was turning into a frenzied sale and only a few minutes from initially arriving to join the back of the crowds, Ruddolf and his nephew Zainddolf were encased by larger crowds which had arrived behind them and it seemed as if they were now floating in a sea of bodies swept out by the tides, rocking back and forth as if floating in deep watery waves, all of a sudden it seemed as if the whole town was in the sook as well as some more.
