  • Just the fog of war is right these things will happen when the lines in the battlefield are fluid and changing all the time.

  • The pilot had problem to enter in contact with the Troops on the ground,(Radio problem) that why you see him land near the command outpost to get some infos, but unfortunetaly he still made a mistake on the exact position of the French , the Talibans were only about a 100 meters from were those troops were, those things happen, in one way they were lucky not to have been killed. Also on the report of the MOD, nothing was mention about friendly fire, it just say 3 French soldiers wounded during a More..

    • @Gulf Flyer
US chopper pilot was asked to give some air support to french soldiers who were ambushed while patroling in a village, but he shot on our troops because it is said your pilot had some radio problems.

The experts on LiveLeak really crack me up sometines...a transponder has ZERO to do with this opertion...ground forces have nothing to do with a transponders.
Oh My...I had to chuckle on that one.

    • @Gulf Flyer Never claimed to be an expert. It just seems to be common sence in this day and age. What is the use of having the technology if it is not deployed. You're just pointing out further incompetence of our leadership.

    • @CannibalsCookpot "further incompetence of our leadership"
REALLY? Just because you're a fucking idiot it's a leadership issue?
I'd say more like a personal problem.

    • @Gulf Flyer What kind of asshole are you? Why am I a fucking idiot for not understanding why the same technology that is available to track my dog or give me realtime updates on the location of my children not available to our soldgers and allies to prevent these FF catastrophies. You call me an idiot instead of laying out the reason it is not possible? You call me an idiot for questioning the competance of the leadership, which has squandered trillions in treasure and thousands of lives and who More..
