PHOENIX - Police take down a man who ran from them after a traffic stop Friday morning.
The entire incident was caught on video as it occurred at 9:30 a.m.
Fox 10 photojournalist Rick Davis captured the suspect takedown near 16th Avenue and Buckeye.
Davis said the man was pulled over for speeding in a school zone.
He ran from police and hid in an apartment complex.
Police chased him out of the complex, and the man ran into an SUV.
That's
when a capitol police officer, who was also involved in the chase,
grabbed the man, who flipped over as the officer slammed him onto the
ground. They discovered afterwards that the suspect had a felony warrant out for his arrest, which is why he ran.
