BBC
One of the largest glaciers in Antarctica is thinning four times faster than it was ten years ago, according to research seen by the BBC.
A study of satellite measurements of Pine Island glacier in west Antarctica reveals the surface of the ice is now dropping at a rate of up to 16m a year.

There's little or no evidence that this is man-made or part of normal climactic change! There are too many reputable scientists (with no agenda) contradicting too many other reputable scientists. Notice which group got the sophisticated press. Besides which, even if "global warming" is 100% true, you've got to succeed in having the Chinamen buy in (they have coal-based energy) otherwise, ****in' forget it!

It really does not matter if it is man made or not...it is the fact that the glaciers are retreating and dumping massive quantities of fresh water into the sea that will drop the salinity levels in the ocean effecting temperatures, sea levels and ending the warm water currents that N. Europe relies upon for well quite a bit ...I am sure this is just the cycle of the Earth but it is a cycle we need to prepare for as it could get really bad

Thank you for your intelligent response. Climactic changes take decades if not centuries to manifest itself and i'm sure mankind can and will adapt. The answer however,is not to tax the living shit out of everyone in frantic response, which is exactly what is being proposed now.
