The suspect in the murder of a Lakewood, N.J., police officer has been busted, the Ocean County prosecutor's office said Sunday morning.
More than 100 local, state and federal officers had been hunting for the alleged killer, Jahmell Crockam, 19, since Friday.
Crockam shot and killed Patrolman Christopher Matlosz, 27, in the driver's seat of his squad car Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Crockam allegedly pumped three bullets into Matlosz after the officer stopped him on the street for questioning.
