@pls53 I think the bridge was there to simulate the small canyon (crack) in which the legendary fight took place. It is there to show that a confined space renders sheer numbers useless and skill becomes more important because only a few can fight at one time.

so the pink programmed soldiers were shit, the back/reds were good...ok...so call one roman and the other persian and now the romans win...Maybe they could have had a very large chicken on the bridge pecking the persians to death, then chase them sqawking wildly.
What a pointless video. I thought at least from the title we had some kind of relevant reinactment of some kind. Then again, I know nothing about computer games, maybe this was cool in some 'epic' way...

Total war is a great series, Shogun 2 is the best one they have made. Still put a lot of hours into that. The combat between each individual soldier is so detailed, it's crazy especially with the blood and gore dlc.

In fact IED's were even used in the American Civil War, such as at the naval battle of Mobile Bay and the land battle of Petersburg. More advanced types of IED's such as the explosively formed penetrator date back to World War II. In modern times, at least within the context of the Middle-East, most IED's are being used by Arab's in places like Iraq, Syria, Libya, etc and not by Persians, so wrong again.
