    • @davidrules Oh that explains why every time a dog see my Vietnamese neighbor they bark at him and not at me.

    • @davidrules Yet their laws don't prohibit the actions of some dog meat butchers. I've seen the shit that they do, beat their heads against the ground to put them in a daze or knock them out, then they skin them alive and let them slowly bleed out/die from exposure while hanging by their feet. Chinese don't stop that and for that they will not be forgiven.

  • Pretty humane for a Chinese person...

I'm thinking about getting one for my german shepherd with fairly severe hip displasia, but they charge such insane-stupid amounts for such a simple device(metal tubes with wheels and a simple sling), hell might be better off making one myself.

You might be able to make one out of PVC pipe and some wheels off an old lawnmower or something like that. I wish I was as crafty as my buddy. He is a carpenter and can make pretty much anything he needs to. He can weld as well so he can work with metal or wood. Maybe you have a friend that could help as well?

  • That is pretty cool. I have an elderly 3 legged rottweiler and I am dreading the day she is not able to get up. I'm not sure she is going to make it through this winter. But she has surprised me before, so who knows. She will be 16 on March 1st if she makes it.

    • @dirtbiker201 Wow! You must be doing something right. That's beyond old for a dog that size. I thought I was going to have to build one of these for my dog years ago when she had a spinal embolism, but six months she was able to walk again.

That's cool that your dog healed up all by herself. My ole gal she is slowing down but she is still great to have around. She sleeps most of the time, but when she gets up, she will actually bark sometimes but we think she is getting senile. She can see pretty good but is almost completely deaf.

Luckily we have a pit we rescued back in 2008, and although he took over as pack leader, and the rott didn't give it up willingly, he seems to love her and is always near her. I think he More..

    • @dirtbiker201 Glad to hear that she has a companion.
Unfortunately, we had to put our dog down three years ago. She was 14. Haven't had the heart to get another one yet.

Oh, crap. Sorry to hear that.

I had to put one down myself about 15 years ago after my wife came flying down the driveway and ran him over. That was ugly. Never do that again. I'll call the vets and have them make a house call next time.

  • The translation mentioned something about K9 veal...

In all seriousness I would steal all the bikes from poor 3rd world children to make doggie wheelchairs for dog and sleep soundly at night knowing full well I had stolen a poor child's sole possession
