A comparison of Congressman/ Vice-Presidential Candidate Paul Ryan, and Sesame Street's Big Bird.
I was watching the vice-presidential debates, and as usual, I couldn't help but notice Congressman Ryan's constant grin. I also saw this during his acceptance speech at the RNC. I couldn't help but sit on the edge of my chair, waiting for a joke or punch-line to come out of his mouth; it never came.
At first I simply found it funny, and it made it hard to take Mr. Ryan seriously; then, I noticed a more eerie comparison. I scoured the world wide web (new, high-tech Iranian invention [just like VHS tapes]) for images to compare the two. I did not alter any of the images, other than cropping and rotating one of the pictures. Sources are sited... Yes, I use Bing.
Please note that I have nothing against Congressman Ryan, and, in fact, I actually like him and his policies. I believe that he is very smart, sharp and charismatic; his smile simply makes me lose focus on the topic at hand.
