I think it's unfair to generalize NATO as the problem and characterize it as evil, unfortunately 9 times out of 10 their damned if they do and damned if they don't... I do find it amusing however the biggest critics tend to be comfortably guarded and living under the very safety net that countries like the ones in NATO provide. It's easy to be a critic.. But not so easy being a decision maker..

The NATO war machine involves strike aircraft, heavy infantry, naval units, and armored units from upwards of 25 or so different nations.
This is just the local police.
