  • I love them. Very versatile. I use them to make Chinese barbeque pork. Marinate with Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Chinese barbecue sauce for a few hours, roast at 365 so it gets kind of charred on the outside. Serve with fried rice or chow mein noodles- whatever. I love your recipe too. Looks good.

I don't ever cook pork ribs over 350 degrees myself.I leave them in longer...low and slow.I want no chew in my ribs, falling off the bone.I like to put a kick in my ribs so there's always some habanero or chili rubbed into mine.I literally smother them in rub like a sandcastle. Most of the heat from the stronger pepper rubs I use mellow out in the cooking process.

  • I usually like leaving the ribs in the fridge over night to give them more flavour. You should try making your own sauce, it is actually pretty simple (takes me 5 min) and you can change it to cater to your own taste.

  • Looks good.

Some people I know boil and then flour and fry them, but I just can't bring myself to boil any ribs.

    • @Philein No, it's really not. Tofu is always gross no matter what flavors people pretend to add to it.

I don't know about always but I bought a package tofupups instead of hotdogs once on a whim.

Do you ever get that feeling when you just know you're going to be sick and you just want to throw up to get it over with? So you have this particular thing you think of that will make you hurl? Well tofupups is now mine. Worst thing I have ever stuffed down my gullet. And I like to gross people out with the sick stuff I can eat without trouble, so that's saying a lot.

    • @Rikki_Tikki_Tavi I'm never going to stop hating my mother for getting tofurkey instead of real turkey for christmas... WHY?!

tofurkey!! Good god I'd be eyeing the family pets first.

I'm not even sure about the whole marketing scheme where they try and name it after other meat products. So who are they marketing to? It's for people who don't want to eat meat. Yet it's made to look and sound like meat. So then they DO want to eat meat, just not real meat. Then why not just call it something completely different than meat. That's probably why the whole tofu as synthetic meat doesn't catch on. That and the fact More..

    • @Rikki_Tikki_Tavi Clarification- She only did that once, because she got her ass chewed out to no end for that lapse in judgement.

  • Never heard of anyone cooking them that hot and long. You never cook them that hot. Low and Slow is the way to go with that meat. You want like 180 degrees max and to cook for about 3 or even 4 hours or until internal temperature reaches 150F-170F degrees. You burned them up with that heat, and that meat was so dry if you cooked it that long, You want meat to be juicy and where u can cut it with your fork if u want. Anyways, practice makes perfect. I grill that same cut at least once a week More..

    • @johnsonbilly74 i personaly prefer simmer my ribs for 2 hours in boiling water, low heat, with cloves, bai leaves, garlic, salt and whole black pepar corns. after that take out carfully so they dont fall apart and leave to marinade in heinz bbq sauce or some other sweet smoky bbq sauce
and finish on the grill gives it a nice caramelised coating while tender meat on the inside:) mouth watering

    • @johnsonbilly74 Well i should have been more descriptive in the description box. I do know how to cook "low and slow". This grill is not a low and slow grill. It is the only grill i have right now. As far as what you marinade it in or season it with, there is no wrong way to do it in my opinion. Its all preference. The ribs were not burned up, nor were they falling off the bone. If you keep brushing on sauce they wont dry up. The black you see is the sauce burning. If i am brushing sau More..
